Position: Assistant Hotel Storekeeper
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Hotel Storekeeper in receiving inspecting and storing all hotel supplies equipment and materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies as needed.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Hotel Storekeeper.
Assist in the distribution of supplies to various departments on the ship.
Maintain a clean and organized storage area at all times.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all team members and guests.
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
Provide excellent customer service to all team members and guests.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in a hotel or cruise ship setting.
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy items.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
