Position: Assistant Manager Inventory
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing all aspects of inventory including ordering receiving and storage of supplies and equipment
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available at all times
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
Work closely with the Inventory Manager to develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures
Train and supervise inventory staff ensuring they are following proper procedures and maintaining accurate records
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
Address any inventoryrelated issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for inventory needs
Prepare reports on inventory levels and usage for management review
Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices in inventory management
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
