Your place in the team
As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the management of complex endtoend full life cycle of client projects. You will lead manage and deliver one or more complex projects or programs using a variety of recognized methodologies including Agile via several multidisciplined highly skilled teams. You will work closely with some of our senior clients to build relationships manage expectations develop and establish new streams of work. You will ensure alignment is maintained with the overall corporate strategy commitments and goals and delivery is conducted consistent with standards policies and processes in force and updated from time to time.
Responsibilities
- To ensure an appropriately detailed project plan is developed and managed throughout the life cycle of the project identifying Business Objectives and Scope Governance Risk / Issue control Schedule including resourcing milestones and results Change control as well as effective Sponsor and Stakeholder management
- Project scheduling and planning to support complex software delivery for multiple workstreams and business rollout of a solution template.
- Accountability for all aspects of delivery including risks issues scope cost and timeline
- Work with leads to accurately compiling an estimate for an agreed scope of work. Structure an estimate according to the most appropriate model and effectively communicate to the client. Track and report the financial status of a project against the current estimate.
- Contribute to project management content on new business pitches where possible.
- Working with an onshore/offshore resource model.
- Tracking projects to maintain a realtime picture of status and priority facilitating adaptability in the face of changing business priorities.
- Maintain strong change control and manage commercial processes.
- Collaborate closely with line managers to ensure projects are resourced appropriately and that teams proposed by the relevant functions have the appropriate skills and experience.
- Delivering Agile and Waterfall Project
- Transition of solutions to BAU support teams both within the company and for our customers support partners.
- To actively support and champion the Business objectives assuring successful deliveries of your Portfolio as well as offering constructive and proactive assistance to guarantee the delivery of peer or impacted areas.
Proactive Services
- Responsible for managing program deliverables and customer relationships.
- Analyze and review Client s IT environment to develop an indepth understanding and identify opportunities/risks.
- Work to mitigate any risks and help stabilize the program.
Reactive Services
- A primary point of escalation for support needs
- Issue Management including support through escalations when needed.
- Monthly indepth review of current projects and issues being managed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in businessrelated discipline or equivalent work experience
Must have Experience
- Hands on exposure to multi technical function workstream planning and assessment run design meetings execute build plan at sub project level.
- Ability to create manage and run multiple workstream level planning coordinate the interdependencies with the technical team for give and take actions.
- Ability to collate the technical details through various workstream templates and brainstorming sessions.
- Ability to run individual and group level action log and document the risks issues and actions at a data program level.
- Demonstrated experience to hold in person /face to face meetings with client / third party vendors especially decisionmaking calls.
- Must have experience on JIRA create and run an MS project multi fold 2000 lines
Expected Experience
- 510 Years of project management experience
- Technically competent with various software programs including O365 Teams SharePoint Visio MS Project
- Extensive experience in major transformation programs as a Project Manager planning executing controlling and closing projects creating and maintaining project and program artefacts
- Strong financial management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent consulting and customer facing skills
- Knowledge and experience of a range of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile Waterfall) are highly desirable
- Able to think strategically and use knowledge and experience to generate new opportunities and future challenges.
- The character and skill to manage multiple risks effectively and tenaciously at the same time applying judgement and experience to agree and track mitigation activities while maintaining excellent relationships
Preferred Experience
- Enterprise level data and analytics Azure a plus
- PRINCE 2 certified
- Experience with delivery across SAP/ERP and nonSAP integrated landscapes
- Experience of global solution delivery and template roll out.
- Integration delivery
