I am working with a long term client of mine a progressive retail company with a chain of retail food stores across the East of the country who is now hiring a manager to run the fresh food section of their store.

We are recruiting for a Senior Deli member of staff Supervisor or Manager level who might looking for an opportunity to progress further improve your financial situation

Our client operates a busy vibrant retail convenience shop offering a wide range of services just on the outskirts of Carlow town in the direction of Wexford Road. The job will typically offer early shifts to run the deli and wider food services offering like the coffee dock hot & cold food and prepack meals. Someone working in a customer facing cafe retail or some type of catering environment would be ideal. Some prior experience taking in fresh food deliveries managing waste levels organising and counting fresh food stock supervising peoples work and training members of staff would be ideal for this job.

Our retail client is offering a salary of up to 35000 DOE including bonus.

The ideal candidate for this Counter Deli Manager Job:

• Previous management experience working with food in a busy customer facing environment
• Strong with stock control experience handling orders for different fresh food offerings.
• Holding high standards in your expectations of customer service cleanliness and merchandising fresh food displays.
• Strong organisational skills
• Be able to work both in a team and on your own initiative
• A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP knowledge

Responsibilities for this Counter Deli Manager Job:

• Oversee the running of a busy fresh food department including handling orders and stock levels for hot & cold fresh foods.
• Responsible for up 36 staff members organizing work to be completed on time checking standard of work completed
• Ensuring the department has the correct amounts of stock to trade for the week using technology and sales reports to analyze stock levels and reduce waste and shrinkage.
• Staying on top of all food safety protocols like hygiene records and HACCP records
• Training and coaching personnel to follow procedures and excel in their roles to increase department performances by increasing productivity and customer service.
