Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detailoriented HR Payroll Executive with at least 1.5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling payroll processing activities ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement and maintaining compliance with all statutory regulations in India. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll management excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Manage endtoend payroll processing for all employees ensuring accuracy in salary calculations deductions and net payouts.
- Verify attendance leave and overtime records to ensure correct payroll inputs.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to payroll including EPF ESI TDS and professional tax.
- Prepare and submit necessary returns and reports to government authorities on time.
Employee Records Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR system including personal details salary information and statutory deductions.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll salary slips and tax deductions.
Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Perform payroll reconciliation to ensure accuracy in monthly payroll processing.
- Generate payroll reports and assist in audits as required.
Salary Disbursement:
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
- Prepare bank transfer requests for salary payments.
Compliance with Company Policies:
- Ensure adherence to the company s payroll policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with changes in labour laws and payroll practices.
Employee Benefits Administration:
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits such as health insurance bonuses and incentives.
- Handle employee grievances related to payroll and benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Finance or a related field.
- 1.5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations preferably in an Indian company.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws tax regulations and statutory compliances related to payroll.
- Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
- Excellent MS Excel skills for payroll calculations and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HRMS or payroll management software.
- Knowledge of employee benefits administration.
- Understanding of income tax calculations and exemptions.
