Role Overview:

As the Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift youll play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of your assigned area within the plant. Reporting to the Assistant Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Production Management: Monitor and track production metrics ensuring safety quality and delivery goals are consistently met.
  
• Team Leadership: Train mentor and evaluate hourly staff while conducting shift startup meetings and coordinating with other shifts.
  
• Process Improvement: Identify and assist with process enhancements and adjust the production schedule as needed.
  
• Administrative Duties: Review shift paperwork confirm production numbers manage time sheets and oversee time off requests.
  
• Training Oversight: Ensure all staff receive necessary training both new hires and current employees.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
  
• Experience: Proven track record in a manufacturing or distribution environment with experience managing 1015 team members.
  
• Skills: Basic Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel.
