Your Role

We are hiring a Laboratory Systems & Business Analyst with 5 years of experience in Lab Systems and software implementation experience within the pharmaceutical industry. *Must be available to work onsite 3 days per week.

  • Link instruments and workstations with systems & software.
  • Formulate test cases and conduct testing to ensure that systems meet business requirements and address any issues and defects.
  • Analyze and document data flows and process maps.
  • Create review and acquire approval for required documentation.
  • Write SOPs work instructions and other materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with lab users and business to ensure that software meets business needs.
  • Provide post implementation support for systems and applications.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Five years or more of handson experience in software implementation and validation in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Two years of laboratory experience preferred.
  • Experience in creating life cycle documentation and system/instrument SOPs in a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or similar) applications including Word Excel PowerPoint Visio and Project.
  • Experience in implementing and managing COTS custom simple or complex solutions such as SDMS LIMS and instrument software in an R&D lab.
  • Proficient in creating Data Flows Process Flows and URS FRS Config Spec and Test Scripts.
  • Skilled in effective requirements gathering techniques and incorporating process mapping methods.
  • Knowledge of standard software development methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

Adhering to the requirements of Californias law on salary transparency the salary bracket for this role is set between $125000 $145000 annually. The offered salary may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicants qualifications skills and professional experience.

*Must be available to work onsite 3 days per week.

Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline. 3 years or more of experience executing commissioning, qualification, and validation for a range of equipment within the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills. Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot effectively. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
