Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and manage quality control procedures and policies for gas piping and detector systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials components and finished products to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Lead quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instrumentation.
- Review and analyze quality data to identify trends root causes of defects and areas for process enhancement.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper training of quality control staff and other relevant personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the company and clients to address qualityrelated concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry developments standards and best practices to continuously improve quality control practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Quality Control Engineer with a focus on gas piping and detector systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as ASME API and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in quality control techniques and tools including nondestructive testing (NDT) root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex data.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in leading quality control teams and collaborating with crossfunctional departments.
- Familiarity with quality management software and systems.
- Certification in quality control or related areas (e.g. Six Sigma CQI) is a plus.
