Position Goals:
- To lead a team ensuring an efficient and safe workflow for storing and preparing food product orders. With a focus on inventory management supervision warehouse organization accurate order preparation and compliance with food safety regulations.
- To Ensure that food products are handled properly and delivered on time while maintaining customer satisfaction goals optimizing operational costs and promoting a safe and collaborative work environment.
- To ensure a safe place to work for all employees contractors and visitors.
Specific Functions:
- Validate the physical and virtual warehouse counts in conjunction with internal and external auditors.
- Control physical stock and outgoing product pallets racks and promotional items.
- Guarantee and monitor daily compliance with the correct and complete loading of products for routes verify and compare the information and products loaded to suppliers; in case of discrepancies document and notify the Seprod supervision team.
- Supervise the proper functioning and maintenance of assigned equipment daily during shift handovers.
- Daily supervision of the performance of the personnel under your supervision.
- Maintain the work area in optimal conditions of cleanliness safety and hygiene.
- Minimize and control losses generated by daily warehouse operations.
- Control physical and virtual stock resulting from returns.
- Obtain and record performance indicators for the picking and warehouse management process.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs for warehouse and picking management.
- Plan operational resources according to workload and established priorities.
- Seek cost optimization in the warehouse and picking process provided to the customer.
- Collaborate with operational and administrative departments to ensure service and departmental results.
- Ensure appropriate product rotation according to information provided by the WMS system to maintain operational costs on target and prevent losses due to freshness.
- Interpret reports and information from the WMS.
- Conduct internal audits related to operations safety and hygiene and in case of deviations document and provide feedback to the necessary personnel.
- Verify and ensure the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
Requirements & Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in materials / warehouse role
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- Warehouse processes: incoming picking shipping
- Experience in Inventory control
- Proficiency in cycle counts
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables and charts)
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) administration
- Experience in the development and implementation of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills such as decision making motivation and goal setting.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Organization and time management abilities.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Customer service skills.
