Job Description

Mental Health Nurses (RMNs and CPNs) Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust

Overview:

Trust Care Solutions is a proud supplier to the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust providing regular shifts on both short and longterm bases. We specialise in delivering exceptional care and support to patients with mental health needs. We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) to join our team serving the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding care and support to patients with mental health needs within the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
  • Utilise your expertise to assess plan implement and evaluate individualised patient care plans.
  • Utilise EPMA systems to accurately manage and document medication prescribing and administration ensuring patient safety and adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and personcentred care.
  • Fulfil any additional responsibilities as directed by the assigned hospital or clinic within the Trust.
  • Provide community psychiatric nursing services as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using EPMA systems for accurate medication management and documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and make informed decisions.
  • Hold a valid BILD certification in PMVA (Preventing and Managing Violence and Aggression) and Breakaway training.
  • Registered as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with patients colleagues and other stakeholders.
