Vigilance Associate
At VCLS we are looking for a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our Vigilance team as a Vigilance Associate. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the vigilance activities related to safety assessment and risk management of pharmaceutical products. This is a great opportunity to contribute to patient safety and play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection assessment and reporting of adverse events and product complaints.
- Conduct signal detection activities and contribute to safety signal management.
- Support the preparation of safety reports including periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and signal detection reports.
- Assist in the maintenance of a pharmacovigilance database and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate exchange of safety information.
- Keep uptodate with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmacovigilance.
- Participate in training programs and maintain a strong understanding of safetyrelated processes and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Vigilance team.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a scientific or healthcarerelated field.
- Prior experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for pharmacovigilance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret scientific data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
