Job Description

Salary: $250K $300K. Salary is based on experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology and product development efforts. As a key member of the executive team the CTO will be responsible for driving technological advancements overseeing the IT department and ensuring that our technology strategy aligns with the companys business goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of managing technology teams to deliver successful products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the companys business objectives ensuring scalability security and innovation.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor the technology and IT teams fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement. Build and maintain a highperforming team of engineers developers and IT professionals.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch. Collaborate with product management marketing and sales teams to ensure products meet market needs and customer expectations.
  • Innovation: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends that could impact the companys products services and operations. Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • IT Management: Oversee the companys IT infrastructure ensuring systems are reliable secure and efficient. Implement best practices in IT governance cybersecurity and data management.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet the companys strategic goals. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with technology vendors and service providers.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including operations finance and HR to ensure technology initiatives align with broader business objectives. Communicate technology strategy and progress to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with technology projects and implement strategies to mitigate these risks. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure that technology solutions enhance the customer experience and drive customer satisfaction. Stay informed of customer needs and feedback to guide technology decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement processes and systems to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the technology team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles with a proven track record of driving innovation and managing technology teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies including cloud computing cybersecurity data analytics AI/ML and software development. Handson experience in software architecture system design and product development.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and inspire technology teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with business goals. Strong business acumen and the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to executives board members and other stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Innovation: A forwardthinking mindset with a passion for staying ahead of technology trends and driving innovation.
