Senior Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join our IT team and take a lead role in designing implementing and maintaining cuttingedge technology solutions. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing technical projects guiding engineering teams and ensuring that all systems are developed to meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role demands a strong technical background excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and budget. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
• System Design and Architecture: Design and implement complex systems and infrastructure ensuring they are scalable secure and meet the needs of the business. Provide technical expertise in system architecture and design reviews.
• Technical Guidance: Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers providing guidance on best practices code quality and technical troubleshooting. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Development and Implementation: Write clean maintainable and efficient code and oversee the development of software and systems. Ensure that coding standards security protocols and testing procedures are followed.
• Problem Solving: Identify diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across systems and applications. Implement solutions that improve performance reliability and security.
• Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve the companys products and services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers designers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Ensure clear communication and alignment across teams.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems processes and code to ensure knowledge transfer and system maintainability. Ensure all documentation is uptodate and accessible.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes including code reviews testing and debugging. Ensure that all deliverables meet the companys quality standards.
• Compliance: Ensure that systems and software adhere to legal regulatory and industry standards. Maintain a strong focus on security and data privacy throughout the development process.
• Team Leadership: Act as a senior member of the engineering team contributing to strategic decisionmaking team development and longterm planning. Support team members in achieving their professional goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 710 years of experience in software development systems engineering or a related field with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of system architecture software design patterns and best practices.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects. Strong mentoring and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• ProblemSolving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to think critically and make informed decisions in highpressure situations.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
