ShangriLa Barr Al Jissah Resort Muscat
Muscat Sultanate of Oman

Nestled in between the dramatic backdrop of rugged mountains and the pristine waters of the Sea of Oman ShangriLas Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa is set on 124 acres of stunning scenery and home to three spectacular hotels: the family orientated Al Waha comprises 262 rooms the diverse Al Bandar comprises 198 deluxe rooms and the luxurious and most exclusive Al Husn has 180 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites. The resort also features 22 Food and Beverage outlets 1056 sqm ballroom with 8 breakout rooms a wide variety of recreational facilities and a spa with 12 treatment villas.

Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager who has been selling to the International Leisure segment from within an international luxury brand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management a deep understanding of International Leisure markets and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

As a Sales Manager we rely on you to

Assist the development and implementation of international sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Act as a sales specialist and be responsible to assist the leisure revenue is maximised in the most profitable way in line with the agreed targets.
Sales Manager Leisure & Luxury will be responsible for planning soliciting booking and coordinating the resorts Domestic and International FIT Wholesale Tour & Travel Industry and sourcing leads for conversion by the groups and events team.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Monitor and analyze own sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.
Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and support.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
Track sales activities and customer interactions.

Requirements

Ideally holding a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 2 years work experience in leisure segment or in a similar role in a luxury international brand hotel within GCC.
Good understanding of selling techniques and leisure/luxury market segment.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Fluent in Russian or German Language or another European language is advantageous.This job has been sourced from an external job board.
