Job Description

Overview

The HR/Payroll Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of payroll and human resources functions within the organization. This role is essential for maintaining accurate payroll records adhering to employment laws and regulations and fostering positive employee relations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the endtoend payroll process including calculations deductions and reconciliations
  • Administer employee benefits such as medical insurance and retirement plans
  • Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Handle all aspects of onboarding and offboarding employees including documentation and orientations
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of payroll and personnel records
  • Resolve employee inquiries and issues related to payroll benefits and time off
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursements
  • Prepare and analyze reports on payroll costs headcount and turnover rates
  • Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and industry trends to ensure legal compliance
  • Collaborate with management to address employee performance and development needs
  • Utilize ADP software or similar HRIS for payroll processing and HR management
  • Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection processes as needed
  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies and procedures for employees
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll and HRrelated information

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience in payroll processing HR administration or related roles
  • Strong understanding of employment laws regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in using ADP software or similar HRIS platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy in payroll calculations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Solid knowledge of employee benefits and retirement plans administration
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
  • Certification in payroll or HR management is a plus
  • Problemsolving skills and proactive approach to addressing challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with performance management and employee relations is preferred
  • Understanding of payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements
