Job Description
We are hiring for our client OnHires.
Overview
The role of a Test is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of products or systems. The Test is responsible for conducting testing procedures identifying issues and collaborating with the development team to ensure efficient and accurate resolution. This role plays an important part in the overall product development cycle ensuring that the end product meets quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing on software applications or systems
- Develop and execute test cases and scripts
- Identify and document technical issues and bugs
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure thorough testing
- Perform regression testing as needed
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Ensure all testing activities are conducted and documented
- Participate in product design reviews and provide input on testability
- Develop testing strategies and plans
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
- Provide feedback on usability and functionality
- Prepare test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Maintain testing environments and tools
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies
- Train and mentor junior team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA HP ALM or similar
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java Python or C
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailoriented with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) are a plus
- Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
- Strong focus on delivering highquality results
- Experience with performance and security testing is an advantage
