Job Description
Job Title: Backend Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience : 14 year
We are hiring for Ahmedabad based VC back funded FinTech startup.
Job Description:
As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining the serverside logic that drives our innovative fintech solutions. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our backend systems with our frontend applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems to support our RESTful services.
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code primarily in Python.
- Implement and optimize database structures to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems by implementing best practices for data protection and user authentication.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and scale backend services in cloud environments.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Optimize backend code for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure alignment with coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest backend development trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on Python.
- Proficiency in designing building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with backend frameworks and libraries such as SQLAlchemy Pydantic FastAPI and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
- Solid understanding of database design and optimization with experience using both relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problemsolving and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS; experience in ECS RDS Lambda SAM is a plus.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
