Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Implement and maintain database security and backup solutions.
• Design and implement database schema tables and views.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and schema design.
• Plan and implement database upgrades and patches.
• Develop and maintain database documentation and standards.
• Implement and manage database replication and clustering solutions.
• Assist in database capacity planning and resource utilization.
• Participate in oncall support and incident response for databaserelated issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in database schema design and modeling.
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions for PostgreSQL.
• Experience with database security best practices and compliance.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative team environment.
• Good understanding of Linux and shell scripting.
