Job Description
We are seeking a Finance & Admin Associate to join our client Alt Carbon.
About this Opportunity:
Join a trailblazing CO removal company based in India that is dedicated to transforming the Darjeeling tea industry into a sustainability pioneer. Backed by influential founders and investors Alt Carbon has already removed 1003 kgs of CO from the atmosphere and aims to achieve 5 million tons by 2030. As part of their mission to scale up enhanced rock weathering (ERW) and mobilize climate finance they are looking for a Finance & Admin Associate to play a vital role in their finance operations and administrative support.
Role and Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance and Financial Management: Manage tax filing GST compliance and ensure precision in financial records and reports.
Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors to ensure readiness and adherence to audit recommendations.
Administrative Support: Oversee travel bookings manage expenses and facilitate daily operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience: 23 years in finance or admin roles with expertise in tax laws GST and financial compliance.
Skills: Proficiency in accounting software Excel and ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
Characteristics: Strong decisionmaking skills excellent communication abilities and an entrepreneurial mindset.
