Overview
The HR InternshipWFH (Unpaid) plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various administrative tasks. This position is essential for gaining handson experience in human resources operations recruitment compliance and employee relations. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about HR processes and procedures contributing to the overall success of the HR team and the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions
- Conduct research on HR best practices policies and compliance regulations
- Organize and maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with employee relations activities including recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives such as performance management and employee training
- Provide administrative support to the HR team including scheduling meetings and preparing materials
- Assist with HR communications and employee newsletters
- Conduct data analysis on HR metrics and reporting
- Support the implementation of HRIS systems and technologies
- Prepare reports and presentations for HR leadership
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes
- Maintain confidentiality of all HRrelated information
- Complete other HRrelated tasks and projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor s or Master s degree program in HR Business or related field
- Strong desire to learn about HR processes regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player
- Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong work ethic
- Understanding of HR principles and practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment
- Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
- Prior administrative or HR experience is a plus
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus
- Available to commit to a specified duration of the internship
