Software testing engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements
• Designing and developing test cases and test plans
• Executing and automating test cases to ensure optimal test coverage
• Identifying documenting and tracking software defects
• Conducting regression testing to validate software quality
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
• Participating in the design and implementation of automated testing solutions
• Providing feedback on usability and functionality
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to testing procedures
• Collaborating with developers to resolve issues and ensure software quality
• Performing compatibility testing for various platforms and environments
• Communicating testing results and findings to stakeholders
• Assisting in the troubleshooting of issues during the software development lifecycle
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices
• Conducting performance and load testing as required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages
• Strong understanding of test methodologies testing types and testing phases
• Experience with bugtracking and test management tools
• Ability to develop and execute test cases test scripts and test plans
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detailoriented with a focus on delivering highquality results
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative team environment
• Familiarity with performance and load testing techniques
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Certification in software testing is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
