Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Web Developer) to join our team to ensure we deliver welldesigned scalable and highquality software that will delight our customers and fuel our growth. We are an opensource software house primarily JavaScript utilising NoSQL solutions and cloud storage alongside containerised microservices to create our products. For this role you should have extensive handson experience in software development and agile methodologies be able to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure we deliver high quality software that will delight our customers and fuel our growth.
- To deliver code that will be used in production systems.
- To deliver the best quality product possible on time and on budget.
Requirements
- Ability to liaise and communicate with wider business
- JavaScript
- Node.JS
- React or Angular
- HTML
- CSS
- Proven and extensive experience as a Software or Web Developer.
- Agile development methodologies.
- Analytical mind with problemsolving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Facilitating builds and releases.
Desirable:
- Technical experience in the following:
- MongoDB
- GraphQL
- REST API s
- JSON
- Redis
- SQL Databases
- Typescript
- Microservices experience and/or design knowledge
- Familiarity with and experience of multiple operating systems (Linux Mac OS Windows)
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
- Agile process Project Management and Jira
- Mentoring of more junior team members
- TDD BDD Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
