Ophthalmologist surgical retina for rohtak location

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat retinal disorders such as retinal detachment diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration
• Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy scleral buckling laser therapy and intravitreal injections
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and imaging studies to determine the extent of retinal damage
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care and counselling to patients
• Manage and oversee the ophthalmic team and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Participate in clinical research contribute to academic publications and stay updated on latest advancements in retinal surgery
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure integrated patient care
• Comply with all relevant legal and ethical standards in healthcare

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency in Ophthalmology from a recognized program
• Fellowship in surgical retina or equivalent specialized training
• Board certification in Ophthalmology and/or Surgical Retina
• Valid state medical license to practice in Rohtak
• Proven experience in diagnosing and managing complex retinal cases
• Demonstrated surgical skills in vitreoretinal procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
• High ethical standards and a patientcentric approach
