Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents such as official correspondence contracts and reports from German to English and vice versa.
- Interpret spoken language in meetings conferences and phone calls providing realtime bilingual support.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure adherence to linguistic and cultural nuances.
- Provide language expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective crosscultural communication.
- Research and stay updated on German language trends idiomatic expressions and industryspecific terminology.
- Collaborate with the localization team to adapt content for the German market.
- Assist in developing languagespecific training materials and resources for the organization.
- Act as a language consultant addressing queries related to German language and culture.
Required Qualifications:
- Native or nearnative fluency in German and English.
- Bachelors degree in German Linguistics Translation or related field.
- Proven experience in professional translation and interpretation.
- Excellent understanding of German grammar syntax and vocabulary.
- Strong cultural knowledge of Germanspeaking regions.
- Proficiency in translation software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in languagerelated tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate various communication contexts.
