Overview:
As an Architect at our organization you will play a critical role in designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures ensuring that each project meets the aesthetic functional and safety requirements. Your expertise and creative vision will contribute significantly to our projects shaping the built environment and impacting communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Lead project design and development from conception to completion
- Collaborate with clients engineers and contractors to ensure project success
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Utilize software and technology for designing and drafting
- Provide innovative design solutions that align with client requirements
- Participate in zoning and building code analysis
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated project delivery
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of architectural standards
- Mentor and support junior staff
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability principles
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field
- Licensed architect with X years of relevant experience
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD Revit etc.
- Strong understanding of building codes regulations and construction methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative problemsolving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and design solutions
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands
- Project management certification is a plus
- Understanding of urban planning and spatial design
