Job description:
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining troubleshooting and enhancing our IT systems and networks. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills and build a career in IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance monitoring and administration of servers networks and computer systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to endusers troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly.
- User Management: Assist in managing user accounts permissions and access controls.
- Backup and Recovery: Help in implementing and managing backup and recovery solutions.
- Security: Assist in ensuring the security of IT infrastructure by monitoring systems and updating security measures.
- Software Installation and Updates: Install and update software applications and operating systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations processes and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the senior IT staff and other departments to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Learning and Development: Continuously develop technical skills and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 12 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems networking concepts and common IT hardware/software.
- Certifications: CompTIA A Network or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problemsolving abilities excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
