Quality Lab Manager Sealants

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the quality control lab
• Develop and implement testing protocols for sealant products
• Oversee the analysis of raw materials and finished products
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead a team of quality technicians and provide guidance and training
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics
• Manage the budget and resources for the quality lab
• Stay updated with industry developments and implement best practices
• Participate in product development projects and provide quality insights
• Ensure the implementation of safety protocols in the lab
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management
• Contribute to the development of quality assurance policies and procedures
• Address any nonconformances and implement corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in quality control preferably in sealant manufacturing
• Proven experience in laboratory management
• Knowledge of sealant testing methods and equipment
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for sealant products
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Quality management system (QMS) experience (e.g. ISO 9001)
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Certification in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality excellence
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Adherence to ethical and professional standards
