Job Description
Role Summary:
This person would be primarily responsible for
- Conceptualization of infrastructure elements and sizing required for such developments
- Build core team of infrastructure MEP and sustainability professionals from scratch
- Ability to work with international and GradeA Indian infrastructure consultants by developing design briefs reviewing concept designs and DBR s validate assumptions and bring in practicality to design and take forward till detailed design / VFC stages
- Champion new technologies and systems by developing new vendor networks for infrastructure and electrical / plumbing / recycling systems
- Single point responsible for delivery of Design Packages in coordination with construction and design teams and contracts team of MEP / Infrastructure Strategic Initiatives Process Compliance.
- Design coordination
Coordination with various design functions
Preparing Concept designs
Preparation of tender drawings and GFC drawings sets.
Finalizing and checking BOQs (quantity and specifications).
Knowledge of latest engineering trends and Value Engineering initiatives
Wellversed with best practices in quality and safety.
- Cross Functional collaboration with Regional Teams and other functions viz. Design Engineering Planning Costing / Budgeting Legal Finance
Tracking Variations in Designs and Budget Analysis.
RFI resolution dispute resolution
The Role is designed to report to the Technical Director or Project Director.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelors/Masters in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) with approx. 1215 years of relevant experience in the real estate industry
- Focus on all elements of large scale township infrastructure e.g. roads drainage systems electrical (HT / LT side) water communication infra etc.
- Ability to lead process from concept to detailed design of each element of township infrastructure
- Has worked extensively with international and GradeA Indian consultants in areas of infrastructure design
- Worked on sustainable design practices and globally ESG rated developments
- Been part of both consulting firms and developers with right mix of experience
- Team management experience of 56 years
Skills
Proficient in Excel and latest MS Office suites AutoCAD and various engineering calculations tools
Proficient in Communication (verbal and written)
Team management and recruitment
Well Organized and Time Management Skills.
Problem Solving and Collaborative Working
Location
The incumbent would be working out of Isprava Mumbai office with frequent visits to Goa and/or other project location(s).
