Job Description: Procurement Manager at Autobacs India
As a Procurement Manager at Autobacs India you will oversee and manage the procurement process to ensure the timely and costeffective acquisition of automotive parts and accessories. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the quality of products optimizing supply chain operations and supporting our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the automotive industry focusing on supplier selection cost management and risk mitigation.
Supplier Management: Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms quality and delivery schedules. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
Sourcing and Purchasing: Manage the endtoend procurement process for automotive parts and accessories including sourcing purchasing and managing inventory levels.
Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Review and approve purchase orders and contracts.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured products meet the required quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with quality control teams to address any issues related to product quality.
Cost Management: Monitor and analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Develop strategies to minimize procurement costs while maintaining product quality and supplier performance.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends pricing and supplier capabilities. Analyze market conditions to make informed procurement decisions.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales inventory management and logistics to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including supplier performance purchase orders and contract terms. Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics and performance.
Requirements:
Master s degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Management Business Administration Automotive Engineering or a related field.
5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze market trends and procurement data to make strategic decisions.
Strong understanding of procurement processes contract management logistics management and inventory management.
Proficiency with procurement software and tools such as ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
