Job Description

The Data Analyst is responsible for mapping datasets analyzing datasets and documenting/troubleshooting any difficulties in creating database entity relationships. Responsibilities of this role include coordinating data requirements and documenting data mapping and data translation rules. Data analysts will work with the Business Analyst to ensure that analytics dashboards and reports clearly deliver insight to business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Excellent analytical skills to not only extract and manipulate data but also understand and interpret complex data and data issues and then communicate those results with recommendations

Ability to understand complex database design/structure with limited documentation.

Strong technical proficiency with SQL and related technologies

Demonstrated technical proficiency in Tableau PowerBI or other dashboarding tools favored by the client

Experience with Sagemaker Data Analytics and other AWSbased data analytic tools

Experience and understanding in business intelligence and realtime analytics

Common Optional Qualifications

Experience with nonrelational NoSQL databases and various datastorage systems

Experience moving data within cloudbased environments
