Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and medical imaging.
- Provide expert medical consultation to colleagues and healthcare staff.
- Monitor and manage patients with chronic and acute medical conditions.
- Offer guidance and support to nursing and allied health professionals.
- Participate in medical rounds and case conferences.
- Contribute to continuous medical education and training programs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Stay updated with the latest medical research and advancements.
- Promote a culture of patient safety and quality care.
- Participate in clinical research and academic activities.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards of medical practice.
- Provide mentorship to junior medical staff and residents.
- Participate in departmental and hospital committees.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree in Medicine.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) qualification in Medicine.
- Active medical license and professional registration.
- Proven experience as a Medicine Consultant or Specialist.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions.
- Excellent clinical decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Sound knowledge of medical ethics and standards.
- Experience in teaching and supervising medical trainees is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Capability to handle medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Deep understanding of evidencebased medical practices.
