Key Responsibilities

• Assessing patient health problems and needs
• Developing and implementing nursing care plans
• Providing pre and postoperative care
• Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
• Supervising junior staff
• Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to plan and coordinate patient care
• Participating in departmental and organizational committees
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in nursing or equivalent
• Valid nursing license
• Proven experience as a Staff Nurse
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families
• Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills
• Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of healthcare laws and regulations
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Basic life support (BLS) and/or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
