Overview:
The parttime Anesthesia Consultant MD DNB DA for 4 hours plays a crucial role in providing anesthesia expertise and contributing to patient care within the organization. This role is essential in ensuring the effective delivery of anesthesia services and maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting preanesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process
- Providing postanesthesia care and monitoring
- Collaborating with surgical teams and healthcare professionals
- Participating in the development of anesthesia protocols and guidelines
- Supervising and training anesthesia staff as required
- Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in departmental meetings and discussions
- Managing anesthesiarelated equipment and supplies

Required Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Anesthesiology (DNB)
- Diploma in Anesthesia (DA) from a recognized program
- Active medical license and good standing with the medical board
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in anesthesia practice
- Proven expertise in administering various types of anesthesia
- Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
