Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting preanesthesia assessments and evaluations
• Administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process
• Providing postanesthesia care and monitoring
• Collaborating with surgical teams and healthcare professionals
• Participating in the development of anesthesia protocols and guidelines
• Supervising and training anesthesia staff as required
• Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in departmental meetings and discussions
• Managing anesthesiarelated equipment and supplies
• Adhering to professional standards and ethical principles
• Staying updated with current practices and advancements in anesthesia
• Participating in professional development activities
• Maintaining a professional and collaborative work environment

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Anesthesiology (DNB)
• Diploma in Anesthesia (DA) from a recognized program
• Active medical license and good standing with the medical board
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in anesthesia practice
• Proven expertise in administering various types of anesthesia
• Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to patientcentered care and safety
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Adherence to professional and ethical standards
