Job Description: Service Technician
Location: Hyderabad Vijayawada Pune & Goa
Department: Sales & Service
You Will:
Service Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the reliability functionality and customer satisfaction of equipment or systems across different industries. Their technical expertise and dedication to service excellence are essential for maintaining operational efficiency and meeting organizational goals.
To be successful you will be expected to:
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues with EV scooters. Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and softwarerelated problems to determine root causes.
- Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on EV scooters including battery replacements brake adjustments tire changes and software updates. Ensure all work is performed according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform routine inspections to assess the condition of EV scooters. Check for wear and tear damages and potential safety hazards. Recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their concerns and provide technical assistance. Explain repair options costs and timelines clearly. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the service process.
- Parts Replacement: Replace faulty or wornout parts such as motors controllers brakes lights and other components. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
- Software Updates: Install and update software systems in EV scooters to ensure optimal performance reliability and compatibility with new features or improvements.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance tasks. Ensure that EV scooters meet safety standards and legal requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities repairs performed parts used and customer interactions. Complete service reports and documentation for recordkeeping and analysis.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on completed repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure that EV scooters are functioning correctly and reliably. Conduct test rides or inspections to verify repairs.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with EV scooter technology advancements new models and manufacturer guidelines through training programs workshops or selfstudy. Apply new knowledge and skills to improve service delivery.
You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems including batteries motors controllers and charging systems. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
- Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in automotive technology electrical systems or EV maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with customers understand their needs and provide satisfactory solutions.
