We are seeking an L3 DB profiles with Expertise in MS SQL and knowledge of Oracle would be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Administration: Manage and maintain SQL Server databases along with lower versions including installation configuration and upgradesmigrations.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance through query tuning index management and server configuration.
- SQL Replication: Implement and manage SQL replication including transactional and snapshot replication to ensure data consistency and availability. Extensive experience with SQL replication technology is mandatory.
- Azure Cloud: Utilize Azure Cloud services to deploy manage and optimize SQL databases in a cloud environment. This includes Azure SQL Database Azure SQL Managed Instance and other related services.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
- Security Management: Implement and enforce database security policies including user access control and encryption.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor database performance identify issues and implement solutions to resolve problems promptly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in writing automation scripts building dashboards for proactive monitoring using PowerShell
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to get to the route of an issue quickly.
