Live-in Housekeeper sought near Banbury in North Oxfordshire 45- 50k ASAP start

A livein Housekeeper is sought for a prestigious country estate near Banbury North Oxfordshire. This is a part time weekend residence with occasional use during the summer.

The large manor home is fully staffed with 9 bedrooms 3 reception rooms and a separate outdoor pool pool house and tennis court. The household style is informal but done to a very high standard.

The housekeeper would be expected to be on duty at weekends when owners in residence including evenings as late as needed for duties turning down of beds cleaning tidying laundry fire setting washing up shopping flowers and light household admin. Cooking to a good dinner party standard is a bonus as well as assisting with food prep drinks pouring food serving and other hospitality related duties.

A driver is essential due to the location of the role as well as occasional driving to the train station or airport pickups and drop offs of guests if needed.

The employer has a large chalet in Switzerland. The housekeeper would be required to travel out a day or two ahead of the couple s arrival to prepare the chalet look after the party during residence (cleaning/laundry/tidying/shopping/assistance with meal prep/cooking/serving and washing up in the evenings) and stay a day or two later to clean up and close up.

Time off would be given in lieu of days off missed during these trips.

You must be dog friendly as the couple have dogs which will need caring and walking.

Role would suit an experienced high calibre candidate that is self starting and respectful with flexibility.

Salary is negotiable around 45 50k gross per annum depending on experience.

Accommodation is a 2 bed apartment in the stable block adjacent to the main house. (Partners welcome but regret no pets or dependants).
