Job Description
Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Produce management accounts in accordance with the established timetable and participate in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Transaction Oversight: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded aligning with the approved budget and supported by valid documentation.
- Financial Control: Establish and maintain financial discipline by reviewing all general ledger reconciliations monthly including subledger reviews and adhoc reconciliations.
- Team Management: Monitor accounting staff deliverables to ensure compliance with the established timetable.
- Inventory Management: Responsible for tracking and valuing gemstone inventory.
- Asset Administration: Manage company asset information.
- Invoicing & Compliance: Handle invoicing to third parties and follow up with clients banks customs brokers and others to ensure compliance and timely receipt of funds.
- Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal audits.
- Data Preparation: Prepare supporting information and analyses for monthly/annual reviews and adhoc queries.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the line manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Finance Accounting or Economics.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance Management.
- Strong knowledge of finance principles and practices.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Basic computer skills are required.
