They are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join their dynamic team and help them transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
Position Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst who is proficient in creating reports from databases and has handson experience with Power BI. In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing business intelligence solutions that support and enhance their business processes. Your primary focus will be:
- Business Intelligence Solutions: Develop and manage comprehensive business intelligence solutions tailored to our organizational needs.
- Data Extraction & Analysis: Extract and analyze data from various databases using SQL or other relevant tools ensuring accurate and insightful results.
- Report & Dashboard Creation: Create and maintain paginated reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI to provide clear and actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver relevant insights and solutions.
- Dashboard Development: Design develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support and enhance business processes.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement datadriven decisionmaking strategies.
- Reporting & Presentation: Provide regular reports and presentations to management and other stakeholders ensuring the clarity and relevance of the information.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across all reporting and analysis activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience in creating reports and dashboards from databases.
- Strong skills in SQL or other relevant data extraction tools.
- Proficiency with Power BI including creating paginated reports.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.
- Familiarity with BusinessObject Reporting or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiar with other BI tools and data visualization platforms.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Understanding of business processes.
