Qualification : BE (Mechanical) Diploma in Tool & Die Making

Experience : 20 to 30 years

Job Description :

1. Knowledge on Fine Blanking/ Conventional staging product / process design Tool Design and other post Fine Blanking Operations loke Welding Moulding Machining Coating etc.

2. To continuously scan the automotive and other relevant industries for Fine Blanking opportunities and communicate TIDCs customer value proposition for Business Development through various engagements with industry & customers.

3. To generate / analyze the enquiry funnel and take actions to enure growth by offering products to meet Quality Cost Delivery & Development in line with Internal/ External stakeholders expectations.

4. To improve engineering capabilities of Fine blanking by continuously adopting best in class engineering process followed globally. (New / latest technology tooling & new processes).

5. Deployment of new tooling technology induction of new/latest processes and engage in continuously upgrading the current tool design and overall manufacturing skills. Decision on appropriate Technology and processes for the New Product being developed

6. Develop alternate technology manufacturing methods as a part of acquiring new capabilities for establishing new business prospects.

7. Evaluate project worthiness & ensure project realization. Ensure all the Product Development launch milestones are achieved effectively.

8. Upskill design capabilities for meeting highest tooling standards in Fine blanking industry (Transfer tool) by developing a indegenous tool benchmarking global performance parameters.

9. Mentor and coach the direct reportees and the potential employees of the Fine blanking division to improve their knowledge on state of art fine blanking technologies and ensure their performance to meeting long term business objectives.

10. Visiting Suppliers & New supplier identification prospecting finalization of Technocommercial terms.(coordination with Strategic sourcing) for New product development.
