Job Description
The Lunch Bag one of Irelands fastest growing companies is expanding and are now looking for a Food Quality Assistant to join our production team.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop maintain and protect food safety/ quality standards in accordance with current and future legislation.
They will support the Production Manager and Food Safety Consultant with the daily requirements of the school meals business from a food safety and quality control prospective and will play an active role in overseeing daily procedures.
The main duties associated with the role are as follows:
- Register schools with Dept of Health
- Monitor and address EHO requirements in schools
- Support Food Safety Consultant in HACCP and ISO administration
- Daily dealings with the implementation and overseeing HACCP/ISO requirements are followed on the production floor
- Support the team to secure ISO certification and ensure upkeep of policies
Requirements:
- Degree is Food Science or equivalent.
- 12 years experience in a Food Quality Assistant role.
- Proficient Microsoft word and excel skills.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to write reports.
Job Type: Fulltime
Salary: From 28500.00 per year
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate toNenagh CO. Tipperary: must have areliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
