Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Apache Pulsar Expert to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in the setup configuration and optimization of Apache Pulsar. This role involves training and consulting customer internal
site reliability engineers solving specific problems and incidents and maintaining close
connections with the Apache Pulsar Open Source Community and enterprisegrade distribution providers.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance on the setup configuration and optimization of Apache Pulsar.
Train guide and consult with customer internal site reliability engineers to enhance their understanding and use of Apache Pulsar.
Troubleshoot and resolve specific problems and incidents related to Apache Pulsar.
Maintain a close link with the Apache Pulsar Open Source Community and contribute to its development.
Collaborate with providers of enterprisegrade Apache Pulsar distributions (e.g. DataStax Datell StreamNative Pandio) to ensure best practices and solutions are implemented.

Requirements

Requirements:
Expert knowledge of Apache Pulsar including setup configuration and optimization.
Proven experience in training and consulting site reliability engineers.
Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to address specific incidents effectively.
Active engagement with the Apache Pulsar Open Source Community and familiarity with its development.
Established connections with enterprisegrade Apache Pulsar distribution providers.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

Soft Skills:
Ability to follow clear directions and be responsive to customer needs.
Strong listening skills and an openminded approach to customer requests
