As a senior/lead engineer at Nosto youll be solving one of the biggest challenges brands and retailers face today: How to offer customers relevant and authentic shopping experiences that drive results. We believe in always listening to our customers and achieving big things by accomplishing something small every day.

What you would be working on

You would be leading efforts in designing and engineering new emerging company initiatives expanding the platform offering and supporting in maintaining some existing parts of the platform. In this role you will have touchpoints in public cloud infrastructure frontend and backend development with strong emphasis on the backend development. You would get the support of your colleagues from data site reliability ai/ml and core teams in achieving the team objectives.

You will report to the Head of Core Front End team and work closely with the product management team.

What you will be doing

• Work handson in maintaining and building primarily backend software
• Create technical plans and spearhead new product innovations
• Providing technical leadership and guidance for the team
• Collaborating with stakeholders and other teams on crossfunctional projects

What we expect

• Excellent backend software development skills
• Pragmatic selfdriven approach to work and continuous learning mindset
• Experience in building in (public cloud) infrastructure
• Experience in modern front end technologies and development
• Fluent spoken and written English.

What we appreciate

• Experience both in Java and Node.js ecosystem based full stack development
• Experience working with AWS
• Experience in React Vue or other front end technologies
• Willingness to do some contributions on a PHP based web stack
• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field..
