Job Description

We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and play a key role in shaping the future of Evacs innovative solutions. As part of this team you will hold technical responsibility for our product lines focusing on evaluating and consolidating the component catalogue in our product database and managing requests for new component creation. This role is based in Espoo Finland and reports to the Manager of Product Engineering.

PLEASE NOTE This is a 12 Month Contract

Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer your work will be central to the development of our business and future solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Database Evaluation: Assess our product database to identify process components and streamline the catalogue by defining specifications and eliminating redundancies.
  • Component Creation: Assist with sourcing and creating new components ensuring they meet technical standards and business needs.
  • Spares Support: Collaborate on defining spares working closely with sourcing and process engineering teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside internal and external stakeholders including lead product engineers to support product development and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Keys to Success

To excel in this role you should bring a blend of technical expertise and proactive problemsolving skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Educational Background: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in process or mechanical engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with process equipment such as pumps blowers valves and instrumentation; solid experience with CAD (with Creo Parametric as a plus); and a good understanding of PDM/PLM tools like Windchill.
  • Product Development Experience: Experience in product development or product management with a strong foundation in evaluating and consolidating technical components.
  • Language Skills: Full proficiency in English.
  • Advanced Spreadsheet Skills: Expertise in managing and analyzing data using spreadsheets.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive wellorganized and an outgoing team player with a cando attitude. Experience in wastewater treatment is an advantage.
