Position Summary:

Paix Software Technologies is seeking a dynamic and detailoriented Charge Entry Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing chargeentry production for multiple physicians ensuring accuracy in entering daily charges and handling assigned accounts receivable. This position requires a strong understanding of billing regulations medical terminology and coding requirements to ensure compliance and maximize reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Charge Entry & Productivity:
  • Accurately enter daily charges for multiple physicians ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain required daily account productivity including thorough documentation and reporting of activities.
• Client & Service Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about clients and the types of services being rendered to provide accurate charge entry.
  • Continuously update knowledge of governmental and managed care policies and procedures interpreting and communicating regulations to ensure compliance.
• Auditing & Review:
  • Audit and review accounts for reimbursement accuracy based on billing regulations medical terminology and coding requirements.
  • Identify and resolve patient and insurance issues efficiently and accurately.
• Recommendations & Quality Improvement:
  • Make recommendations to management and actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to efforts to enhance reimbursement processes and outcomes.
• Compliance & Confidentiality:
  • Adhere to organizational policies with particular attention to standards of conduct and confidentiality especially as it relates to HIPAA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education & Experience:

• Education: Any Graduate (Degree completion is required)
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in charge entry billing or related roles within the healthcare industry.

• Strong understanding of medical billing regulations medical terminology and coding requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using billing software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
