Job Description

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a nursing home in Cork Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the provision of a high standard of care to the residents and families in Name of Unit is consistent with the mission vision values and strategic plan of the Nursing Home
  • Develop relationships with residents which facilitates resident autonomy informed choice and evidencebased decisionmaking
  • Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care by respecting the privacy dignity and rights of the resident
  • Assist residents in maintaining their sense of identity and include them in decisionmaking whenever possible
  • Ensure the Nursing Home is operated in a manner that respects the age gender sexual orientation disability family status civil status race religious beliefs and ethnic & cultural background of each resident
  • Plan assess and deliver resident care that maximizes the resident s capacity to exercise personal autonomy and choice together with all members of the Multidisciplinary Care Team


Requirements

  • Eligible to register or currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Two to three years of minimum appropriate postregistration experience.
  • Postregistration training in dementia care and/or gerontology is very desirable.
  • Leadership communication organizational and clinical expertise that may be demonstrated.
  • Needed to be qualified to work in Ireland.
