I m the direct recruiter for a Director of Patient Accounts we d like to explore with you. 30year privately owned national healthcare services & reimbursement solutions company. Houston TX inoffice
$65K to $80K or more plus bonus paid benefits/PTO/Holidays
As Director of Patient Accounts with Resource Corporation of American ( ) you ll lead operations/relationships at assigned hospitals: revenue expense/income staffng/personnel development client satisfaction.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Monitor referred patients/applications taken quality/quantity
Process billing reports
Daily/weekly Approval Lien Filed & Denial Reports for assigned facilities/monthly audits
Quality reports: actions taken timely/accurately minimizing A/R days
Review/approve/assign Inpatient Accounts denials
Escalate/resolve hospital/state agency issues
Adherence to RCA SOPs/address variances
Constructive/corrective action to staff with HR
Train new/current staff
Quarterly staffing review/recommend to VP based on volume performance other factors
With HR interview/hire/new hire packets/preemployment/onboarding
Annual staff performance/salary reviews
Coverage for staff leave/absence
Organize quarterly meetings; participate in quarterly facility audits with VP
Staff appreciation activities
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor s or equivalent experience to include:
Managing large employee teams/multiple client environments
Appropriate use of confidential information/matters re: internal/client business/negotiations (debt settlement negotiation a plus)
Establish qualitative/quantitative employee measures/feedback processes
Travel approximately 25%
Office equipment/general computer proficiency
Reside in/be willing to relocate to Houston TX area
