Job Description

Job Title: RN Supervisor

Location: Accelerate Piscataway

Shift: Day Shift

Hourly Rate: $60

Position Overview:

Accelerate Piscataway is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team. As an RN Supervisor you will play a crucial role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care. This position offers a day shift schedule and competitive pay of $60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs LPNs and CNAs. Develop and manage staff schedules address performance issues and provide guidance and mentorship.
  • Patient Care Oversight: Monitor and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Oversee patient assessments care planning and implementation of treatment plans. Ensure adherence to care standards and protocols.
  • Clinical Support: Provide clinical guidance and support for complex patient cases. Assist with direct patient care as needed and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and staff activities. Prepare reports on nursing performance patient outcomes and other relevant metrics.
  • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with physicians healthcare professionals and other departments to ensure cohesive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and updates.
  • Emergency Response: Lead or participate in emergency response situations including code blue events ensuring prompt and appropriate interventions.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Implement best practices to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Valid RN license and a degree in nursing (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required; additional certifications may be preferred based on department needs.
