Responsibilities

• Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation
• Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)
• Drive the design implementation and management for expanding observability infrastructure keeping up to date with new technologies
• Lead sustainable incident response blameless postmortems and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities
• Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design implement and maintain multiple business offerings
• Automate deployment scaling and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices
• Monitor and optimize system performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
• Manage and secure cloudbased environments (AWS)
• Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
• Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
• Periodical OnCall responsibility alongside your fellow team members
• Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field
• 5 years of experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Expertise with container based technologies e.g. Dockers Kubernetes
• Expertise with infrastructure as code configuration management tools and cloud automation e.g. Terraform CloudFormation
• Good understanding of networking and security concepts
• Experience in defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools
• Great programming skills in languages such as Python Go PowerShell
• Experience in Linux Systems Administration scripting and troubleshooting in a production environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Kubernetes certifications)
• Experience with microservices serverless architecture
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus ELK Stack Grafana)
• Knowledge in Jenkins Groovy CDK
