Guidewire PC Developer
Our client a leader in the insurance industry is seeking a talented and collaborative Guidewire PC Developer to join their Software Engineering Group. In this role you will work alongside globally distributed teams of business representatives analysts architects and engineers to plan design and implement highquality solutions. Hourly salary of $78 to $85 based on experience.
3month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 2 remote days and 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities:
Review and analyze software requirements to ensure efficient development.
Build architectural diagrams and design documents.
Design screens business rules and workflow changes to align with project objectives.
Write programs configure package and deploy software solutions.
Establish and maintain coding standards across projects.
Debug and perform unit testing on developed code.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and functionality.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
What you will need to succeed:
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Guidewire certifications (Ace Associate or Specialist).
5 years of proven experience in Guidewire Application Development.
Integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter BillingCenter ClaimCenter and ContactManager systems with downstream systems.
Expertise in GOSU Language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools accelerators batch processing and predefined plugins.
Ability to read code in other programming languages and reverse engineer products.
Agile software development experience using Git Bitbucket Jenkins Jira Confluence and related tools.
Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance.
Experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with REST APIs web services and messaging systems.
Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle and MongoDB.
