Accountant Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

Were a technology company that provides data solutions to some of the largest ecommerce companies in the world including Amazon & eBay. We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can run the finance department is excellent with numbers understands finance and tax regulations and has handson experience in daytoday accounting activities preferably in the IT industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and can think outside the box.

• Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance required(Masters preferred)
• Experience: 3 years of relevant experience (Experience in a CA firm is a bonus)

Requirements :

1. Works with different departments in the organization regarding financerelated tasks.
2. English proficiency is a must.
3. Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
4. Must possess a high level of attention to detail ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial records reports and analyses. This quality is essential for maintaining the integrity of the companys financial data identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
5. Strong Knowledge of rules regulations and procedures pertaining to Goods & Service Tax Income Tax TDS eTDS and other statutory compliances (PF/ESIC).
6. Familiarity with financial accounting statements
7. Experience with general ledger functions and the monthend/yearend close process
8. Should be conversant with Tally ERP. Handson experience with accounting software packages like QuickBooks and FreshBooks is an advantage.
9. Strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential information
10. Proficient in Google doc sheet Microsoft Excel and Word
11. Ability to manage stress and responsibilities.
12. Accuracy and attention to detail.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Managing accounts department.
2. Communicate with Clients CA Banks and other authorities.
3. Implementing the strategies and plans through the discussion with the Department Head.
4. To rebuild a structure in the finance department. i.e. review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures based on feedback.
5. Ensuring bookkeeping is updated on a daily basis.
6. Maintaining relevant reports regarding the accounting/finance department.
7. To handle Accounts TDS GST PT Returnsand other statutory compliances (PF/ESIC) etc.
8. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns ensuring compliance with payment reporting and other tax requirements. With the help of experts.
9. Prepare payment Documentation and filing work with the bank and other departments
10. Collect analyze and summarize account information and financial status
11. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
12. Verifying allocating posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
13. Produce errorfree accounting reports and present their results
14. Assist with tax audits and tax returns
15. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
16. Support monthend and yearend close process
17. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
18. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
19. Provide input into the departments goalsetting process
20. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
21. Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant
